Program Overview
Global RISE connects youth with mentors, elders, and scholars working across our five research pillars—from ecological stewardship and living knowledge systems to community wellbeing, spiritual heritage, and Indigenous futures. Interns develop skills in ethical research, documentation, and public engagement—always guided by respect for Indigenous sovereignty and community protocols.
Who Can Apply
- Indigenous and allied youth ages 14–35
- Interest in Indigenous stewardship, cultural heritage, language preservation, or community empowerment
- Commitment to community benefit and ethical research standards
